New day, new responsibilities

 Today was the first day of 'no Lesley' and we were all feeling it.  We are all sad she is not at Ten Alps anymore and we definitely miss her.  However, I'm sure she is off doing something she loves at her new job.

Back at Ten Alps, everyone is under strain with regards to the work Lesley used to do.  There seems to be nobody to take over her role at the moment and with everything that is going on in Macclesfield, I don't see them replacing her anytime soon.

I have been asked to do the enhancements on Link2Portal, which is one of three bits of work Lesley used to do.  Admittedly, I am not doing everything for the listings but it is still going to hit my workload hard.  I'm not too sure if this is going to be a temporary thing or a permanent part of my job role.  I would rather it not be as it will impact into the time I would be spending on web development, which is what I was employed to do.

On another note, I have recently installed a Twitter module that will allow me to automatically post that I have a new blog entry for people to read.  I hope it works as well as I want it to - I would then be finally using Twitter again!
